Phantom Spirits are taking custody of some unbelievable aged Caribbean rums, moving them over to Copenhagen and teaming up with some of the most respected brewers & producers in the region to then age and treat the rums in some very unique barrels. Albeit in tiny amounts, with a total production only sitting a bit over 3000 bottles all up, so true hen's teeth.
Omnipollo, based in Sweden, is one of the most experimental brewing outfits in the world today, so it's wholly organic that they would team up with Phantom Spirits. Getting together to offer their Anagram Blueberry Cheesecake Stout barrel to be home to an 8yr old Dominican Republic Rum. The saturation of the stout still left in the barrel has just hugged the rum and brought it to be this dark, intense bastard with the most moreish damn sweetness, aaarrgh give me more!
