Bordeaux is a region many have rather mixed feelings about these days, there are those that herald its traditions and produce and keep them in their revered realm. Others see it is as institution very much in need of a shakeup. The Courselle sisters, Marie & Sylvie, have taken their chance to pay homage to its soils whilst defying the long held & scarcely questioned traditions of the region. Located in the satellite of Entre-dux-Mers, they've been doing incredible work growing an array of varietals, uncommonly seen in the region, organically and acutely sustainably.
The Petite Courselle Rouge is built around the classic blends of Cabernet Franc & Merlot but with the incorporation of Syrah, enhancing the juicier dark fruited aspect of the wine whilst bringing in a freshness that makes this one of the brightest and most Glou Glou Bordeauxs you're yet to have. The fruit of the labours of Rebels.
