80% Zweigelt 20% St Laurent from the grasslands, this plateau runs from Lake Neusiedl to the Hungarian border. Mostly sandy soil with layers of gravel and alluvial. All the fruit is hand-harvested, destemmed, and macerated for 8 days. A portion of the Zweigelt is aged in large acacia for up to 16 months. True to Zweigelt style there is an array of blue fruit's that are crunchy and vibrant. All together well-balanced acidity and good length. Perfect spring red wine.
