Coming out of the Cradle Valley in TAS, Ghost Rock have stayed quite strongly in the more traditional quarter for some years now, going so strong but it always surprises me that they aren't celebrated right across the board. The estate is now in the hands of the second generation, Justin is putting out what is just such pure Tassie Pinot & Chard that it's hard to believe not everyone's got some Ghost Rock in their gob.
The Supernatural series is Justin really just letting go and giving the grapes their due, letting them do all the talking whilst he just offers them a gentle, guiding hand through their journey. The Pet Nat is mostly Chardonnay, lending its edge-lifting acid to the party whilst the remainder is made up of some riper Pinot Noir bouncing in with some extra juice and fruit. And to be honest, they priced them so damn well.
