Chateau Beleverne’s Gamay vines grow on the siliceous clay of gentle slopes. Whole bunches, sourced from a single domaine, are put through carbonic maceration - the process by which bright, fruity Beaujolais wines are traditionally made. Very fresh, delicate style with appealing aromas of crushed strawberries, herbs and savoury layers. A wonderful matched with strongly flavoured savoury dishes like dense meats, liver and onions with mature hard cheeses.
