Italy's finest aperitif white wines are made from the ancient grape Prié Blanc, grown at the foot of Mont Blanc - the furthest, Frenchiest, reach of Valle d'Aosta (the country's smallest region). Mineral and light but full of pear fruit and pretty flowers. True to style a little CO2 remains in the wine offering a touch of effervescence that also helps protect the wine.
