Bruno Duchene 'La Luna' 2019
This product is currently sold out.
Bruno Duchêne was originally a distributor of wild mushrooms in his native Loire Valley, however retired at the age of 40 to move to the town of Banyuls. Thankfully, boredom got the better of him and as such he has taken on 4 hectares of ancient terrace style vineyards. Notoriously known for their difficulty to farm and low yielding grapes, Bruno works his magic on these terraces to produce some truly wild wines.
Majority Grenache with a touch of Carignan, the La Luna rouge is a refined, velvety pleasure. Violets, plums, citrus, black cherries, strawberries and an elegant earthiness. Medium bodied and full of intense fruit with a blackberry finish. Expect this one to linger around on the palate for a little while too!
