Agori White Made from chardonnay fruit souced at the Mount Compass Vineyard, the vines grow on a north facing vineyard with very sandy soils over sandstone
bedrock.
We picked the fruit when the ripeness and the acidity worked for an early release wine and direct pressed the whole bunches into a stainless steel tank for fermentation.
The wine remained on full lees for 2 months after which it was racked into another tank before bottling at the beginning of September. The wine is light, fresh, crisp and clean. We find it partularly refreshing with favours of melon, honey dew and lemon rind.
