Making the most of its bountiful Tasmanian birthplace, the base spirit here is distilled from Huon Valley apples and loaded with the taste of Tassie - sweet scented Kunzea, pepperberries, leatherwood honey and hand harvested Kombu sit alongside more traditional botanicals such as juniper, coriander and orris root. Complex? For sure, but still really balanced and on the herbal/savoury side despite the florals and honey.
Full bodied and flavoursome, this gin is worth getting to know in a dry martini.
